From stems to notes
Separate what you can. Edit what you hear.
Choose a layer
The current htdemucs separator produces drums, bass, vocals and other. Other is a mixed group; it does not promise separate guitar, keys or every instrument. You can also import already-separated audio.
Choose a passage
Drag the passage edges or enter start and end times. The source position stays visible so you can decide how the result aligns with your DAW timeline.
Make an editable MIDI draft
Basic Pitch produces a draft, not a perfect transcription. Listen against the reference audio, correct notes and timing, and save a new revision. Earlier drafts remain available. Drum MIDI uses the drum channel; inspect its mapping in your instrument.
The handoff can include MIDI and aligned reference audio. Native DAW imports and broader listening-quality feedback are still being validated; there is no universal DAW compatibility claim.
For audio processing instead of transcription, open Edit audio. MIDI is never a required intermediate step.
