Your first useful take
Start with a recording, or set up one music engine.
Aftertake is a local music workspace. The downloadable Mac beta is being prepared; you can try the interactive demo here while the downloadable build is prepared.
Start with your own recording
- Open the app and create a local account. Your new library starts empty.
- Import audio you have permission to use. Listen first, and save a note about what you want to change.
- Keep the take, compare versions, or open Edit audio to work on a passage.
- Render your changes, audition the saved result, then export.
Importing and processing audio does not need MiniMax or ACE. Separation and MIDI have their own components.
Start with a generated idea
Install one supported engine through the component manager, review its terms, and pass its compatibility check. Generation stays unavailable until an engine is ready. You do not need both engines.
The managed installer and first-release hardware matrix are still in development. Read requirements before planning a download.
